Is ResumeHunter really free?

Yes. The roast, the full critique and the rebuilt resume are free. Hireish makes money from AI mock interviews, which are optional.

Is it an ATS resume checker?

Yes. It flags what breaks ATS parsing (photos, tables, image-only PDFs, hidden text) and what recruiters hate (no numbers, buzzwords, long summaries).

What happens to my resume?

We roast it, we don't sell it. It is never used to train AI. Unclaimed scans are deleted after 7 days and claimed ones after 90 days, and you can delete your data anytime.

Why do I need to log in to see the full roast?

Logging in with Google ties the roast to you, so we can show the full critique, rebuild your resume and email it to your verified address only.

Will the AI make up numbers on my rebuilt resume?

Never. It inserts visible placeholders like [X%] where a metric belongs, and you fill them in. Interviewers will ask about that 40%.

Which files can I upload?

A PDF up to 5 MB and 3 pages. Scanned or image-only PDFs cannot be read by ATS either, so export a text PDF.
